22 July 2023. I wanted to practice getting anatomy right, and in particular trying to correct habits like making the head too big, or torso too long. Using some great free references from characterdesigns.com, I made these four. I threw a flat background in, and felt that I'd channelled a little bit of Eguchi Hisaishi's pop-art manga style, so decided to go without shading. Definitely had some corrections but one done, I was very pleased with the result - again getting some of the emotion down while still being a practice piece.
