WOW I do love this well captured image
I am a Nikon user and I wouldn't call myself a professional but I do love photography
I have tried capturing images like this but cant seam to get the deep crisp detail look... maybe I'm doing something wrong..
photographer to photographer... how did you get this image so crisp? Any helpful tips you can share?

really a Noob?
you work says different...
I'm no professional either .. I guess you can call me a Noob as well
I know everyone sees things in different ways yet I believeΒ we can and will learn new things through each others creativity...
photography to me is the beauty of life captured..we use the negatives to develop....

I started one and a half year ago with photography, so yes I'm still a noob. There is so much to learn and improve...
The creativity of other people may be a good inspiration for trying something new or different.

Our whole live is learning in process, day by day. And if you don't ask, you'll probably never know the answer.

I love the perspective on this one.
What setup did you use?

Ikarusthefirst In reply to AfricanObserver [2014-08-09 19:27:25 +0000 UTC]
Thank you very much! You should see the setup at the bottom right of this page plus I used a macro filter with my 18-55mm lens because I have no macro lens.

I saw the 55, but I wasn't sure if it was a macro zoom or not.
There's a lot of fun to be had getting in close - enjoy it!
