Description Bandwagon jump again~!

I don't have a lot of influences in life that affects my drawings, but the ones that I have, I cherish it with my life.

Fujio F. Fujiko has always been the biggest influence in my life. You can say it is the foundation of my drawing career. Everything I need to know how to draw: people, characteristic, storyline, adventure, humour, it's all there. Doraemon is mainly the one that made what I am today.

Kaoru is the pen name for one of my most favourite local manga artist under the Gempak productions, which is a digest magazine company privy to my local country hometown. In fact she is one I would look up to because not only she is an amazing manga artist, she is the first female manga artist in the local industry. She is the one who influences me on fantasy and clothings.

Takeshi Okano would the main reason why I dabble into occult and supernatural art. He teaches me how to dive into the world of macabre and helps me in how to draw things that go bump in the night and provide me ample information about the spirit world of Japan. He is also the reason why I have Katsuya as my fantasy lover.

Walt Disney also plays a pivotal role in my artwork. Though I do not draw as cool as they do, I owe it to their amazing storyline, plots and settings to influence my artwork. And also coz there is still that tiny little Disney Princess in me that still loves them for creating the inner child in me.

Apoh is a pen name of the artist who also works under the Gempak productions. He gives a whole new meaning to smiley faces, and he is probably one of the most intriguing artist that really messes around with colours but making it look so damn good. He is also not ashamed of using actual pictures for his background, showing that it's not entirely shameful not to know how to draw backgrounds and you can still use them so long as you strive to improve yours as well. And he gives a whole new meaning to the smiley face symbol in his main manga series 'Mat Gempak'.

Sidek Bros is no stranger to me. In fact it has always been my childhood comic 2nd to Doraemon. It had influenced my art in more ways than one (as you can see from my Sidek Bros art in my gallery) and it was also a way for me to learn my own local culture, since it's published in my local country too.

Kenny Chuah is my hero when it comes to action and sci-fi. His drawing incorporates humour, action, men with guns and sci-fi in his futuristic settings all in one. He's my guru in drawing those crazy-ass weapons that I totally suck at drawing them and is also my main guideline into drawing sci-fi, which I totally suck as well. Plus he is the reason I have Jinggo as my other fantasy lover.

Naoko Takeuchi...yes, I know. Whut?? Sailormoon?? No, seriously, without her I wouldn't know how to draw in anime style. Doraemon may have been the foundation for my art, but Sailormoon was the foundation for me to break out of my comfort zone to learn how to draw pretty girls, sexy bodylines, fluid movements, special effects and not to mention those big anime googly eyes that I usually totally super-suck at it. Back then, whenever I tried, I always end up making them look like they're sleepy 24/7. Now look at what I've accomplished. And all those anime facial expressions like -_- O_O @_@ I wouldn't have known how to draw them if I didn't have Sailormoon. So yeah
