IllusionTree — Baby Tokay Gecko Pin

Description This is a pin of a juvie Tokay Gecko I made a few months ago but haven't got around to posting. It is made from polymer clay original Sculpy and painted with acrylics. The eyes are glass painted on the back. The feet are strengthened with a sort of glaze so they won't break very easily. I made this pin curved so that it could pin on a hat or your shoulder and look real. It is about 4.25in from the nose to the tip of the tail. Download for more detail.


Commissions are closed at the moment. I might reopen them sometime in the future after I finish my waiting list.

This is so freaking adorable. I can't even contain my excitement for how much I love this. Do you put any sort of armature in the tail section to help strengthen it? And those eyes, are just perfect! Any chance you'd be willing to divulge where you get your glass eyes from?

What a sweet pin, very realistic! Great job on this one! But i saw, that the sculpey between the toes look a little jagged. With sandpaper you could smooth the edges the next time before painting
