Description Bums, trash, and poverty these are things that I usually overlook when spending time with my friends on State Street. What is typically an awesome place to visit and enjoy with others can be a prison for those who call it home. Trapped with nowhere to go and no one to help you living on scraps and watching others with plenty laugh and just walk past your outstretched hat, it must be hell to survive. A block away from our state’s capitol you wouldn’t think there would be such a neglect of human life. Society’s waste, leftover human corpses, people just turn a blind eye. My youth playground’s twisted dark-side, people need to see the good and the bad. I have learned from State Street to not just accept what you see, but look deeper and see what is really going on. This is one of the best facets of State Street.
