just my main character, a bit older, after he tried to enter the chevalry academy with the crest and authenticity ring from it's adoptive grandfather that died some time ago, the instructors let him through the castle gates and made him live a nightmare in the camp for three years, supporting all kind of humilliations from his comrades while shuting it's mouth, when he got to the final exams, that he succeeded, he received another reason for it's failure, the word "inhumanity" wrote in red letters on his official paper.

Deeply chocked and keeping an inner furor, frustration, he threw away the path he wanted to follow (same path than it's adoptive grandfather took, being a knight ) and decided to go to the first mercenary guild to enrole, throw himself in battlefield just to forget everything.
