Sometimes, I like to think of our relationship as a cliff over the ocean, the birds are chirping softly and together we stand.
I am ready. I want to take the plunge and dive, forget the fact that I can't swim, forget the fact that I'll drown.
I'm ready, I'm prepared to jump into your ocean.
And suddenly, it happens. I take the plunge and dive.
As I'm falling, I suddenly look over at my own hands and realize yours are not in them. Then I discover, you are not above me, or below me and I am alone.
You're still up on the cliff, not ready to take the plunge into my ocean.
You let me fall alone.
