I took this picture a month ago and manipulated it in photoshop.ItΒ΄s very melankoly and i like it because of that!

I think the yellow side works better on the bottom than on the top.. it over powers the hair area... maybe a gradient opacity mask

Other than you having too many comments on this , i like it very much, i really like the faded look of the writing on the golden colored area.

Well i like the other piece a bit more but this is nice too. In this one her face and her hair turns out better and the yellow effect on the left side gives the pic a nice feeling.
Maybe it would look better when the red tie (don't know if that is the correct word) are above that thing around her tail...oh damn english

doesnt need the bar - the corset effect is nice and the dreads give a nice off center effect to the tie

I have to say it would be so much better without that yellow strip...it's a beutiful image on it's own. If you used the rectancle you might want to consider changing the color and opacity (less than you have now)

I really like the dreads! the blurred effect on the right side does a lot to the composure, it keeps the picture more mysterious. I like that. I've always liked hyroglyphic handwriting too... I actually strive to make a good looking "hard to read" handwriting. Since this isn't english (at least it's well disguised if it is) It's easy to make it look puzzling, but it still has that brushstroke look to it. The color tones confuse the modern interior designer, no direct contrast, but instead there is a main point in the center (the tie) It kind of starts with a yellow and then focuses in on the red in the middle. It doesn't match, but doesn't clash.
Even though you've now heard it from everyone and their dog....

this image could not be any better. Very good use of photoshop. It is amazing how all the diffrent asspects of the picture work so well with eachother. I don't think you could have found a better model for it either
