Description
Running, sniffling nosewith no relief from tissues.
Freaking allergies.
The morning sun shines,
grows warmer all the day but
still the snow won't melt.
The sun sinks low, low
lower until out of view,
colors go with it.
A pounding headache
cruelly attacks my poor brain -
why I hate math tests.
Breezes blow my hair
whipping wildly 'round my head
in writhing tendrils.
Pen scratches against
empty lines and blank pages
with nothing to say.
Footsteps echo in
silent empty corridors
of my solitude.
Icy winds blow through
highways and narrow streets of
the suburbia.
Blue skies boil with light.
Cold, but welcoming is the
winter's gift of spring.
Excitement and joy
oh so giddy and hyper
with too much sugar.
Wracked with waves of pain.
Bloody hell this sucks. Why I
hate being female.
Harshly glaring sun
beats down through a façade of
my gothy darkness.
Moonlight shines through the
icy glass windows of your
Blue eyes and black skies.
Stretching joints, pained of
stupidly not stretching 'fore
yoga exercise.
Heed the Ides of March
and learn from Caesar's mistake:
don't get freaking stabbed.
A day of lounging.
Oh so enjoyable with
quiet relaxing.
Overload of green.
Oh, clovers and leprechauns,
but you're not Irish.
Metallic click of
tapping metal rings and glass
of too much jewelry.
Dum da di dum dum,
this song stuck in my head for
way too long a time.
Quickly losing my
inspiration for all these
cool at first ideas.
Holy crap, it's spring!
So why is there so much snow
still covering grass?

I'm Irish!
Well, five eighths Irish anyway, but I live in the UK.
I didn't do anything for St Patrick's Day, i'm so unpatriotic. xD
It's barely even a big thing in Ireland, but for some reason in places like New York City in America they have green beer green newspapers (or orange for the protestants, if I have my history right ).
I really don't get patriotism.

I'm about a quarter Irish. I wear orange (ancestors were WASPs), and celebrate my 75% Scottish heritage instead.
I know, in America people go crazy over it.
I'm fairly patriotic for an American. It's like, "Yeah, America has problems. But we also have some kickass stuff. Plz to be stopping the bashing plz?"

I recently did a piece of history coursework about Northern Ireland and America's involvement in Northern Ireland and part of the essay was about how a lot of moved Irish New Yorkers haven't really moved on - and how they're more patriotic there than they are in Ireland.
Funnily enough I got an A on that coursework.
Back here the local Irish just go to O'Keefs for a few more pints than usual.

It makes sense, really. I live in an area with a lot of people of Irish descent, so it might just be in this area.

There was a quote from someone I can't remember at the moment (my hard drive with that coursework got wiped, so I don't even have it to check now), but it effectively said that the Irish in New York have not changed ever since they first moved there at the time of the Potato Famine, and are still just as full of resent for the English and patriotism.

Yeah, pretty much. A few of my friends dyed their hair orange/green for St. Patty's Day, and now they just look silly.

day 7
the feeling of loneliness reverberates. good.
a point to note though: 'silent' contradicts with 'echo'.
day 18
there you have a christmas tree sitting beside you during the test.

It is commonly known that goths hate sunlight, and I hated it today, despite being WAY too upbeat to be a goth.
