Description
this is a painting i did on a canvas. I painted with garden dirt, red clay, white clay, porcelain, and mushed plant matter, (the dark black or brown portions) unfortunantly these materials did not adhere very well to the canvas despite my efforts, I will resubmit this under a different title if I restore it with new paint.Related content

This reminds me of Man Ray's Dust Breeding
I like how you've used natural materials in your work and the process of the breakdown and curling of the clay as it has dried. It reminds me of when I was a kid, after the wet season had turned all the bulldust to slush and then dried out again, it curled up like weird iceberg floes in big areas around our property. My favourite thing was to walk around on it, crunching it under my feet.
I don't think you should try and restore it, perhaps just prevent it from completely degrading. It seems to be at a perfect stage right there.

This is a horrible scan, and I am sorry for that.
