Vora looks hurt for a split second then clenches her fists, letting go of Tatiana’s hand so not to hurt her

Vora: *eyes harden and steps in front of Tatiana slightly* You’re right. I killed him. Out of defense. He wanted to kill my son. I couldn’t just stand by and let him. I would’ve though that other parents would understand that. I would never, ever, harm Tatiana. I love her. I won’t speak badly of my late husband, but I couldn’t have said the same for him. Any love I ever had for him was destroyed when he tried, when he tried to s-smother my son in his sleep.
