Prana? What is it?

So you wanna know what Prana is? Prana is the energy that is charged in various particles in or around the body. It is unknown where it comes from, maybe particles capture thrown off energy from motion of various objects or perhaps it is energy from another universe that leaks over via quantum mechanics. Who knows? But, Prana is very influential in this world. Most mutants use Prana to fuel energy-based powers, various psychic powers, and sometimes in their physical powers like regeneration. Prana is measured in units called Rals, but usually when asked most individuals merely say something similar to “15 Prana” or what not. Prana is also used to fuel the Hammerhead biomancer “magic”.

Usually, a being has a natural Prana reservoir, however a being can absorb X amount of Prana from their environment ( Their usual Prana divided by four and rounded down.). However, some mutants and biomancers can draw Prana from others, usually within twelve feet of them. They usually can access one-fourth of the other organism’s Prana.

Mutants gain two units of Prana for every thirty minutes, and asleep gain four.
