Various Minor Alien Races Part 3

Garbans:

In the Theta Carinae Cluster, there is a star called, Lonsos. This is outside of Bizzle space and belongs to one of the most misunderstood races-the Garbans. The Garbans are from the planet Garba and look like humans with silver hair that lack eyebrows, but however their fingernails and canines show their true nature-they evolved from a feline-like creature. The Garbans have a little known history, due to their primitive nature, however within the last three hundred years the Empire of Torenkai has helped develop this world with technology and united it under its own control.

The Garbans seem like a combination of fuedal Japanese culture and the culture of the ancient Persian Empire in a cultural examination. They have suits of armor that are ornate and effective as the samurai. While also, their rugs and fabric designs are fine and some of the best known amongst many of the races. The Emperor of the Torenkai empire has tried to assimilate all previous Garban cultures into his dreamed of pan-Garba cultural revolution. However, the Garbans of only a few cities have the latest of technology, while most of the Garban people live in a society that rivals America in the 1850’s in technology.

The Garbans did some experimental travel into space with satelites and probes, then came in contact with the Bizzle. The Bizzle arrived and wanted to help elevate the Garbans with technology and gave them a multitude of inventions to aid them. However, most of these were taken exclusively for use of the Empire. It is because of them that the planet was united and that space travel to Bizzle, Hammerhead, Kurimenal, and GCC territories are possible. However, since many have sought refuge from the Empire in these places beyond their system, space travel now is closely guarded as a secret by the Empire.

The Garban people are ruled over by the Emperor Tazenk and his four sons. They have allowed settlers to go out and learn from the other races and return to Garba, however many did not return. The Imperial Family has blamed the humans for the Garbans that don’t return. Human culture and music has spread and because of the human-Garban resemblance and the concept of freedom instead of monarchy. The Garbans have tried to ban all human-produced meida within their small empire, however illegal human music and movies are still trafficed.

Prince Slezenva, two years ago, launched a series of terrorist attacks on UEF targets within Bizzle and various other territories. They bombed colonies, cafes, and one frieghter. The disguised themselves as humans by dying their hair and wearing false eyebrows. In retaliation, the UEF and FSU have ceased trade with the Garbans and have pressured the Bizzle to suspend the citizenship of most Garbans, unless they
are proven to be exiles or political dissidents.

Garban culture as of now is highly stratified between the noble class and the peasants. The peasant class lives much like their ancestors and usually farm primarily. The nobles use all of the conveniences of modern technology with their opulent lifestyles.  The population is however, forced to worship the Emperor as a god and his sons as demi-gods. With the spread of monotheistic religions to Garba this makes one reason that the Emperor has aggressions against outsiders.

There are about 3,000 Garbans that live outside the Empire.

Dianii

The GCC in 2315 created an expeditionary force that would explore the space outside of their borders and it had a seven years mission. The expeditionary force returned in seven years and spoke of the NGC 6633 star cluster being inhabited by a planet that had sentient life forms that were ten to fifteen meters tall! The race, called the Dianii, were just recently developing ways of getting into space. The name Dianii was gained from their communications broadcasts on the planet. The radio signals from outsde and this world are garbled by a rather large blue star in the solar system’s vicinity. Contact was not made as of yet, but ti has been said by the Bizzle that there is a colony of theirs that had Dianni slaves about two hundred years ago, but the planet was abandoned due to geological actvitity. If the Dianii there are still alive, no one knows.

The Kilaaks have records from before the Great Fall that speak of a planet like the one of the Dianii and a species that also is very similar. They were giants with leathery, green skin and tendril-like hair, if they even had hair. They were expert hunters and gatherers and apparentlly had various different types of spears, arrows, and hand axes. This shows that perhaps it is the same planet and species, it’s just that they had continued their natural evolution from hunter/gatherer to civilization.

The Dianii have apparentlly a multi-government world and have various political groups that vigh for domination. They are of little concern as of the moment.

Valgan:
During the 2310’s, the GCC created a research fleet called the GCC Expeditionary Legion and were sent to explore and search for habitable and inhabited planets closer toward the galactic core. It was launched in 2315 and eventually the ships returned by 2322. They had recorded much information on the Upper Scorpius area and variou other areas. They encountered a race called the Valgan on a moon called Vi around one of the Upper Scorpius stars. The Valgans are an extremely bizzare species of red carapaced creatures that have a vague humanoid shape, but have triangular heads with horizontall slits that contain their multiple eyes. Strangely enough there are openings in their carapaces where they do on each side of their bodies have small mouths that are filled with millions of small processing teeth. The Valgans apparentlly have encountered aliens before so they almost attacked the Expeditionary Force, but however the Valgans stopped. Apparently what is known of these pinkish crustaceans is that they have a caste system that includes a caste of extreme psychics. The psychics had deciphered the intentions of the expedition and decided not to attack.

The expedition did land, communicate, and gather information on the Valgans.  The Valgan society has a caste of rulers and a queen above all of them that control society. Then there are the worker and soldier castes that add to the four castes. The Valgans are a vegatarian society that lived mostly in peace amongst themselves. They also seem like all of their more advanced technologies are biomechanical based.

However, they wish to remain in peace and avoid contact with other species. They show no malice to aliens however. Other questions do remain. Why are they humanoid in shape? How are the Valgan able to communicate with plants (they use it in agriculture)? What other races had visited Vi before?
