Description
The sun came up the next morning fast, with it, brought warmth that instantly turned to blistering heat against Link and Thorn's skin. The heat was what woke Thorn. Thorn, sat up fully rested and looked over at Link, who slept lightly with the side of his face resting on his hand while resting on his side.

Slowly, Thorn moved over and placed a light hand on Link's shoulder. Gently, he shook the hero awake while softly calling his name.

"Link, Link. Wake up." Slowly, Link's blue eyes opened. He flinched a bit from the sunlight in his eyes. Groggily, Link sat up and stared at the Thorn.

"I'm awake." he said. Thorn helped Link up and the two men gazed towards the mirror chamber.

"Well, lets get a move on." Thorn said. Of course, Link nodded in agreement and the two started trudging towards the mirror chamber. It was about two hours in before Link stopped in his tracks.

"Look!"he said.

"What is it?"Thorn asked. Link pointed straight ahead of him where a base camp of bublins rested and with them, boars.

"Boars. If we could just get one or two, we could get to the mirror chamber in no time."Link said, a hint of happiness hit his tone. Thorn nodded and looked around.

"Hmm..I see..15.."he whispers. Link nodded.

"Yeah besides the two others on the watch towers."he whispered back. With of snap of Thorn's fingers, a dark bow with dark arrows appeared in his hands.

"I'll cover you."he said. Link nodded and pulled out his sword quietly so the bublins wouldn't hear. Immediately after, Link charged into open range at the bublins. The bublins from the the towers spotted him right away but before they could signal the others, Thorn had shot and lodged his dark arrows in their skulls.

Link easily slashed and killed the bublins of the camp before looking back at Thorn.

"It's clear. Lets go!"he called. Thorn nodded to Link and jogged over to him. The two snagged two large boars that sat at rest by a few tents.

The two boys hopped on the boars and grasped their reins. With a click of Link's heels, the boar gave a roar and charged towards the mirror chamber. Thorn followed in suit. It took only but an hour for Link and Thorn to reach the base of the mirror chamber.

Of course, the boars didn't stop until they rammed into a wall, flinging Link and Thorn off their backs.

"Ow..stupid pigs!"Thorn growled. Link merely chuckled and picked himself off the sandy ground while Thorn rubbed the back of his head in pain.

"First time riding a boar?"Link asks as he walks over to the brunette. He offered a hand to him and Thorn grasped it before hauling himself up to his feet.

"That obvious?"Thorn asks. Link nods.

"Kinda.." With a heavy sigh, Thorn rubbed his head and glanced towards the large entrance of a temple where they stood in front of.

"What's this place?"he asks, glancing over at Link. Link stepped forward.

"It's the Arbiter's grounds. Since we are obviously not warping to the mirror chamber, we'll have to go through here to reach the mirror chamber."Link says, glancing over at Thorn.

"I'm sorry. I guess Nicolei took away some of my power. I can't warp anywhere while wearing this stupid darknut suit and I can't get out of it."Thorn said sadly.

"It's fine. Let's just go." Link led the way as he stepped towards the entrance of the Arbiter's grounds. Thorn followed beside him and the two stepped down the cracking cement steps. The two ventured deeper into the grounds until they reached a large dark room. Above, hung a large chandelier. To the sides were few doors and in front a large door stood. In front of it were four candles lit by purple flames.

"Interesting.."Thorn mumbled. He noticed a white robe lying on the ground in front of him where a broken lantern laid beside the sleeves.

"That was a poe. Annoying bastards took the lights when I first ventured in here."Link grumbled. Thorn nodded.

"Ah, I see. Well we shouldn't have to worry about any creatures now."

"I wouldn't be so sure about that." a voice came. Thorn and Link stood back to back and looked around the room.

"Who's there?!"Link called.

"You're new supreme ruler of course!"the voice called again. Link and Thorn both clenched their teeth in anger and growled a name at the same time.

"Nicolei." Nicolei's wicked chuckled echoed through the room.

"You are correct. Now about there being no monsters in here..Weeelllll... I wouldn't say that.""he said.

"What do you mean?"Link called. The two boys heard what seemed to be a snap and suddenly gates sealed the large door shut. Afterwards, appeared four poes dressed in white torn robes, each holding a lantern in hand.

"What the hell?"Thorn cursed. The poes simply growled at Link and Thorn before swooping up the four purple flames in their lanterns.

"Damn it! Not this again!"Link shouted as he watched the poes scatter, each disappearing into several rooms beside Link and Thorn.
Nicolei's dark chuckle once again filled the room.

"Have fun finding them! I now I'll have fun watching."

"Damn you Nicolei!"Link shouted.

"Link! Relax. This will be easy." Thorn said, resting a hand on Link's shoulder. Link turned to the brunette with angry eyes. "There's four poes and two of us. Tow poes went to the right and two to the left. All we have to do is split up to find them then meet back here. It shouldn't take long. You've done this all before anyway." Thorn explains.

Link sighed deeply and ran a hand through his dirty blonde bangs.

"You're right. I'll take the right side and you take the left. But scream if you need me."Link says.

"I doubt our screams will reach each other's ears but alright. Be careful."Thorn stated. Link nodded.

"You too." With a nod of both boy's heads the two split up. Thorn dashed left while Link dashed to the right. As Thorn stepped through his door, gates behind him fell in place. Thorn quickly whipped around and gripped the bars.

"Damn..locked in. Guess I'll have to find another way out."He mumbled. Thorn stepped through the large dark room he was in but stopped at the feeling of a boney hand grabbing his ankle. WIth a gasp, he looked down to see and skeleton with deep black eye sockets and an open screeching mouth, pulling Thorn into the ground.

"What the hell?!"Thorn growled in annoyance as he kicked the skeleton's 'face' in with his heavy metal boot and jumping out of it's grasp.

"Man..gotta stay on my toes in this place."he growled. Thorn turned and began to look for a way out the room he was sealed in when suddenly about twenty purple candles flickered on and appeared a ghostly apparition which Thorn smirked out.

"Found you."

Link growled in frustration as he stepped on the other side of his door.

"Damn..This is a waste of time! Not to mention this place is creepy as hell."Link stated. Too busy ranting, Link failed to realize that the Arbiter's grounds had been slightly rearranged by Nicolei's hands and he found himself suddenly falling through the floor.

"Mother-"Link's swore was cut off as he began to spiral down a deep dark corridor before falling through the ceiling of another room. Landing hard on his back.

"Ow.."Link growled in pain and held the back of his head. His blue eyes were shut tightly as pain throbbed in his skull."Damn. Damn. Damn!" Link rolled around on the floor a bit before hearing the sound of cracking bones somewhere around him. Quickly, Link sat up, nearly giving himself whiplash. Around him were dark areas where candles were not lit and in the center of the room above him were lit dim candles causing the room to fill with eerie shadows.

"Talk about creepy.."Link stood up and whipped out his sword.(Haha. No pun intended~) "Who's there?! Show yourself!"Link demanded. Slowly, a purple flame drifted out from a shadow with a ghostly hand behind it. Link smirked.

"Hey, been looking for you!"he mocked as a poe appeared above him. Link took a good look at it. Not only had Nicolei altered the grounds, he altered them as well. These poes were highly scarier. Their mouths now dripped blood as well as their deep eye sockets. They were very bony with rotting flesh covering their 'bones' one would say.

Overall they were highly creepier than the first ones around.
