I once read online of the Lock and Key theory. It states that a guy is like a key, and a girl is like a lock. A key that opens many locks is a master key, yet a lock that is opened by many keys is a shitty lock. Though I have yet to meet a master key I've seen many skeleton ones, guys who excelled at academics, sport stars, humorous guys, and handsome guys. Some are just classmates, others close friends, and when I hang out with them or talked I find that they are just like skeleton keys, they can get many girls, and yet at the end of the day they are hollow inside, some feel empty, and some just use personas to fit in. Although I believe the phrase has some truth, I believe we aren't as set in stone so to speak as to be a metal key, but rather we are a key of ice one that can change forms as time goes by and we change as people, as people can drift apart and things and people that used to interest you may no longer do so once you experience more things or broaden your horizon, and like keys of ice we're oh so terribly fragile and can break apart if we try and forced into the wrong lock, and if we so crack, we can always be mended together again, and though the mark may fade, we'll always remember that it happened, and it will always be in the back of our minds, gnawing at us and making us doubt ourselves and the strength of the key.
