Ridge slowly sat up, at first he wondered where he was, but quickly focused on his surroundings, noticing the elf crouched near the front, her bow and arrow and and poking out of a broken bit of glass at the bottom of the window. "Morni-"
"Shh!" She told him quietly, not even glancing back as he sneaked over, kneeling next to her.
"What we got?" He whispered as quietly as possible, though she still seemed annoyed.
"I spotted Nilesy." She muttered, keeping her eyes out the window, watching for any sign of movement. "They're trying to make their way into the tower... we need to stop them. There's a bunch of supplies in there."
Ridge nodded, looking out the window and keeping an eye out. "Any sign of Honeydew?"
"Not yet." She shook her head. "He must be around somewhere..." She shuddered slightly. "I keep feeling like someone's nearby."
He nodded. "I feel the same..." He glanced back to where he'd been asleep. "Oh... shit, I DID add some magic for the walls to tell us if anyone was nearby."
She jumped up, keeping out of view of the window while still making sure to still check if anyone was out there. "What do we do?"
Ridge thought for a moment, the elf had seen Nilesy round the front and the walls were telling them to keep an eye out nearby. With no sight of the dwarf there was only one explanation. "We need a plan."
"Agreed." Xevphera sighed when he raised an eyebrow to her. "Don't tell anyone I said that..." She wracked her brain trying to think of what to do, looking through her pack to see what supplies she had to kill the other team. "I have an idea, but it's risky." She told him. They stared at each other for a moment.
He nodded. "Lead the way, I'll cover you." He smirked.
She nodded and smiled a little. "Is the door safe?"
He hadn't thought about that. "For me... I'll open it, you come out." He headed over, opening the door and holding it open for her. They quickly ducked into the alleyway next to the house, where Xevphera climbed up to the roof of the house next to them, hiding behind the chimney as she looked out around them for a vantage point. "What are you looking for?" Ridge whispered up, keeping an eye out on the lower level just in case.
"Some where higher than this level, but not too high." She told him.
"The observatory?" He suggested, climbing up next to her.
"Good shout." She nodded. "We need to be careful."
They jumped down from the roof, carefully but quickly making their way through the desolate city, keeping a close eye out for any other players.
They ducked behind some bushes when they heard a whistling coming from down the street. "Nilesy." Xevphera whispered.
Ridge watched as Nilesy walked down the street, checking his pack. "He's unarmed." Ridge told her, ready to jump out, but she grabbed his arm.
"Which means he's probably protected." She reminded him, after all, who would survive this long without looking around them and their surroundings? "We need to be careful."
"Fine." Ridge muttered, watching the pool boy continue down the street.
"Come on, Honeydew!" He shouted out, looking around for the dwarf.
Xevphera tapped Ridge on the arm and pointed upwards. They were under the broken toward, and Ridge raised a brow. "We have him here, now! Why would we go up there?"
She rolled her eyes. "Thought you had my back?"
He watched her for a moment, but sighed. "Fine, we'll do it your way..." He followed her.
"Right, we needed some distance, I need you to deal with Nilesy, I'll take Honeydew." She told him.
"Sure, leave me with the noob." Ridge rolled his eyes.
"I have a bone to pick with Honeydew." She muttered, folding her arms.
He watched her for a moment. "He steal your toothbrush again?"
"Of course he fucking did..." She grumbled. "I got him, you get the poll boy."
He sighed, relenting. "Fine, where do you want me?"
"Use your imagination, just try to keep them both under the tower." She told him, and they hung around the crumbling ruins of the tower.
Ridge sighed, looking around and wondering what to do, he checked his pack again, looking through what he had, and noticed a bucket in his pack. "Hmm... Use my imagination, eh?" He chuckled, spotting a flow of water nearby and heading back down to the lower levels in the tower. He looked out of the window, noticing Nilesy stopped, under the bridge, checking his bag. Honeydew had rejoined him, checking some chests nearby.
The reaper thought for a moment, before thinking what he could do with the water bucket. How ironic for a pool boy... He smirked, jumping from the window and grabbing Nilesy, putting his hand over his mouth so he couldn't shout out for his teammate. He made sure to stick in the centre of where the tower overcast them, a shadow over where they stood, safe to say it didn't exactly feel the safest place to stand.
Nilesy struggled, as was to be expected, and Ridge figured the dwarf would soon notice the silence, so he acted quickly, placing the bucket of water down and shoving the pool boys face into it, holding it there and trying to overpower him and his struggling and hoping he didn't run out of water. "Shut up!" He ground his teeth, seeing the dwarf was finished with the chests. "Shit..." He muttered, still holding Nilesy's head down and hoping he'd just drown already.
"Oi!" Honeydew shouted and Ridge groaned, clicking his fingers quickly, and looking down, seeing his magic working as Nilesy's head was stuck down to the bucket, water splashing around as the pool boy struggled to breathe.
"Come on then, posh boy." Honeydew told him, holding up an enchanted pickaxe. He lunged, Ridge pushing him back and just dodging the pick as he swerved away. He made sure to stay in the shadow of the tower, knowing the elf had somewhat of a plan, and danced around in the fight with the dwarf, trying to keep him away from Nilesy.
"I'm getting bored now, dwarf." Ridge told him, taking his hoe from his pack.
Honeydew lunged again, but before he could strike, half his body was covered in dirt. He struggled, but the dirt hardly moved. "What the fuck?!" He shouted, suddenly panicked and still trying to get himself free. He swung his pick at the dirt, hoping to dislodge it, when another load of dirt fell onto his other side, knocking the pick from his hand.
Ridge quickly picked it up and watched the two, Nilesy was slowly down in his struggling, and soon lay still.
:Nilesy drowned:
Ridge continued watching Honeydew struggle, when a final block landed on him, covering his head and face. There was a little bit of movement for a while, and soon the elf rejoined him on the ground, watching the slightly moving pile of dirt.
:Honeydew stopped breathing:
They both sighed in relief.
"See, told you I got this." She shrugged, looking to the enchanted pickaxe Ridge now held. "Nice."
"Unbreaking and thorns." He told her as he checked. "Not bad."
"Bet you're glad he didn't hit you with that." She smirked.
"No thanks to you, you took your time." He retorted, folding his arms.
She rolled her eyes. "Let's just get out of the open."
