(Apologies for how incredibly and unbelievably late this piece is... I apologise with both my hearts! Especially to Eps, sorry friend!!)

At this point in time, Cormburskan had just finished making the harpoon gun while Exza made the fuel. Notch knew how a girl like Exza knew how to make ammo like this... but he didn't have the time to question this. He turned to her, stating that he was done.
"Excellent!" She hopped over and looked at it. "That green shit is toast!" Loading the ammo, she turned and flicked her tail at him. He gave her a confused look, but then, he realised what she was doing, she had hit his packet of cigarettes and had caught one in her mouth.
"You zmoke?"
"Long story." Was her reply, before she began hopping out of the room on all fours. He picked up the harpoon and followed her. Where was she going?
After following her for a while, he realised, they were going down to the bedroom.
"Vhy are ve going down zere?"
"Because..."  The girl opened the door and walked in, crouching slightly and turning to him. "We have a small problem."
"Vhat?"
"Well... considering the rest of the boat is now flooding with water, I don't see that as a good thing, do you?"
"..."
"Exactly."
"But how are ve suppozed to shoot anyzing from down here?!"
Exza looked stumped. She obviously hadn't thought this through. But, the scientist thought it a good thing that she had brought him down here. Now that the door was closed and he could hear the water lapping at the side of the metal tomb they were in. After all, even if they could shoot the monster, they would have to flood the room to do so, and either way they decided to do it, they would surely not survive. What a bother. His suicide idea wasn't looking too bad at the moment.

------------

Xevphera looked up dizzily as she felt someone shake her arm. As her vision focused she saw the aliens big red eyes in front of her. He continued to nudge her until she finally snapped at him."
"I'm awake god damn it!"
"Just checking..."
She gave him a slight glare and sat up.
"I get the feeling I'm not going to like where we are..."
"We're in that things mouth."
"And still you tell me." She looked around at the rotting bones and felt sick when she caught a whiff of the grotesque smell. "God this place stinks like shit!"
"My sentiments exactly."
"I suppose its safe to say we're screwed?"
"Oh yeah."

------------

They sat in the room for a few minutes, trying to think up a way to survive what they were going to do. It was only when the water began seeping under the iron door in drops, did the fox girl jump up onto 'her' bunk and hiss down.
"I don't like this! If anything, I would prefer dying in fire!"
A spark flew across the room from some wiring that became wet.
"I was just kidding!"
"Exza, relax..." The scientist said, though his tone was just as panicked.
Just then, like a tonne of bricks, it hit her. She looked around the room, and then jumped onto the bunk below, all the while Cormburskan watched her with intrigue. She felt the air around the side of the bed and then looked down to the floor. After having jumped onto the floor, she sniffed under the bed and then walked back towards the door, risking getting her hands wet, but cringing slightly as they splashed in the small puddle that was building up.
"Oh... my... god... I'm a genius!" she called and then began pulling up the bright blue carpet away from the side of the room.
"V...Vhat are you doing?"
"You'll see!" she called and continued pulling, I the end, she resorted to biting it and pulling back with her teeth, like a dog with a chew toy. The scientist stood up, getting out of the way, and pretty soon, a large glass casing to the floor was revealed. He stared down at it in astonishment. "An air vacuum bubble!" The girl called happily, trying to shake the water from her hands and high-tops.
"I do not believe zis... you... you zaved uz!"
"Well... I wouldn't be so sure... we still need to get rid of that thing..." The fox girl grabbed the harpoon and pressed the second lightswitch along, the one that none of them could work out what it did. Well, they knew now. As the glass flooring slowly began to pull back, revealing the churning water below, with a small space of air inbetween. "Here beasty, beasty, beasty...~" She said as she walked back over and looked down at the water. Something green flashed in the deep water below. She looked to the scientist. "You wanna do the honours?"
