Honeydew knew he needed to get up, so like any awesome rock star he got up past dinner time and went to band practice with no Jaffa cakes.
By the time he got there and ran up the stairs they had already started, but they were working on a new song that he didn't know! It was good. "Hey Nilesy, you guys working on something new?" he asked curiously. "Who's this?" he pointed to a guy who stood in the corner "Yeah, Dewy we don't know how to tell you this but, um." Benjii started saying, he was the nicest of them all. "Your out, we voted!" Nilesy stated. "Look guys, I've been working on some stuff, I mean no offense Niles, but your lyrics are LAME!" Honeydew stated, not taking note of what his friend had just said. "Wah, wait, did you just say i'm out of the band?" "Yes, we voted, Ravs is replacing you as lead guitarist." "But, this is my band! I made this band!" "Dewy I don't know what to tell you man, I wish you could stay but-" Benjii started, but was cut off by Nilesy "Oh shut up man you voted him out aswell!" Benjii looked taken back but didn't argue, just gave Honeydew a sad look.
"Look Dewy, you're a good guitarist, it's just the ten minuet guitar solos, stage dives?!" Honeydew remembered back to last night. "Were trying to win battle of the sands here, and you're just slowing us down." "Look you guys are so obsessed with winning, you've forgotten what it means to be rock stars!" he stated "I'm sorry Dewy." Nilesy said, the new guy, Ravs turned to Honeydew and smiled "Soz man." "Read between the lines Niles." he lifted up his first three fingers to Nilesy's face. "Read between the lines!" Nilesy rolled his eyes and Honeydew left.
How was he going to get money for the rent now?!
