As requested the group had been given quarters, Lalna and Honeydew shared a room (much to the two's dismay), and Xephos and Xevphera shared a room, purely because the captain wanted to watch them two the most. They were to report to the sick bay again when they woke in the morning and got ready in Starfleet uniform. The elf had refused at first, but agreed when the others had.
The spaceman, dwarf and scientist all sat in the sick bay with the women and her son. The captain had entered a few minutes later. "Guessing the girl isn't here yet?" he asked and the doctor shook her head. "Very well. We await her arrival." he said, just as he did the elf walked through the door, she wore a trouser uniform much like the others and threw an amazingly short skirt uniform on one of the tables. "If you think i'm going to wear that." she said and the captain shook his head.
"You do not have to if you wish not to." he stated and the girl walked to 'her' bed and sat down on the end, her arms folded. "Right now that you're all here, I was wondering if you'd like to, take a few tests." he said and got confused looks back. "Don't worry nothing too taxing, just a few routine tests we take for all of our new members of staff." the group looked at each other then back to the captain.
"Is that why you've got us wearing these?!" the dwarf asked, pulling at his yellow uniformed top. The captain pulled a weak smile and began to pace in front of the group. "If Will-" he stopped and looked at the spaceman "If this man trusts you all and calls you his friends, then I trust his decision! You shall all work for the starship Enterprise!" he stated proudly, his hands behind his back. It was a matter of seconds before the elf stood up, looking very pissed. "Woah, woah, woah! I'm not working for some bat shit starship who don't even know my friends name!" the captain looked slightly frustrated. "I apologise, what was your name?" he turned to the spaceman.
"Xephos." he answered. The captain nodded sadly before turning to Wesley. "Do you mind taking... Xephos?" he turned to the spaceman who nodded "Right, would you mind taking Xephos and his girl friend to their first test?" he asked and the elf raised an eyebrow at the captain. "Girlfriend?" "No girl. friend, not girlfriend." the captain stated and the elf and spaceman looked at each other before looking back to the captain.
"And what is our first test?" the elf asked, Picard sighed and told her that they'd find out when they got there. He then tapped the golden button on his chest and asked for 'Worf' to take the dwarf and scientist to their first test. This may take a while.

Xephos and Xevphera stood outside a room waiting for the boy to get Data to supervise. "Just don't go anywhere! I'm going to get Data, he'll supervise you and explain, i'm not aloud in this room." Wesley explained before running off to get Data. "So, Will?" the elf asked sarcastically and the spaceman smirked. "How you holding up?" he asked in return and the elf shrugged while leaning against the wall. "It isn't really about me is it? Sure we're in a place I don't know, but what's important is that it's something to do with you're past! These are, were you're friends." she said. "Wow, that's deep." the spaceman joked and the elf smiled at him. "Well that women from before seemed happy to see you." "I'm sorry." "Why are you sorry?" the spaceman looked confused at both himself and the question. "I'm not sure." They stood in silence for a moment. "Is there something you wanted to say?" "I-" the spaceman started but was cut off when Data walked down the corridor towards them. "No. Nothing." he finished as the grey skinned man stood next to them, looking like he was trying to smile.
He took them inside and stood with his hands behind his back. The room was pitch black and the door closed, even in the darkness of the room the group could still see each other... Strange. "Commander." the grey skinned man said to the spaceman, who nodded in return, having being greeted by a lot of people since his 'return', he still wasn't convinced that he had ever been here before, he didn't remember anything. "Allow me to introduce myself, I am known as Data and I am an android. I am the enterprises leading officer in operations and I am also the second officer. At the moment I am in temporary position as the captains 'number one'. I want you to know commander that I at first rejected the role, however the captain made me after a while. I hope this isn't a problem for you." Xephos shook his head and pretended like he knew what the android was saying. "Ah, good. You are back on board now though sir, so as soon as you are rehabilitated you will have your old position back on the bridge." again Xephos nodded, not really sure what the bridge was or what exactly being 'number one' meant.
"So!" the android continued. "Ah! Excuse me miss, you still haven't told anyone you're name?" "Xevphera." the elf answered and the android nodded. "So, this is the 'phaser room', it's a bit like target practice in a way." "Where are the targets?" the elf asked and the android looked like he was trying to smile again. "Good question." he said before motioning for the two to follow him. He lead them a bit fall wards and the floor flashed in a circle, half yellow, half blue.
The android lead them up to the circle and let them step on top of it. "Again, I don't see any targets, or bows for that matter." the android looked confused. "Bows? As in bow and arrow an old form of weaponry mostly used by elf's in fairy tales such as J.R.R.Tolkien's middle earth depicted in the books the hobbit and the lord of the rings etc.?" the elf smiled. "Finally something I can relate with! I love them books." she turned to Xephos and gave him a sneaky smile "If Legolas was real I'd tap dat." she said and the spaceman laughed out loud, whereas the android looked quiet confused. "Ah! I see why you would find that funny commander." he said before turning away.
"Computer, phasers." Data called out at the darkness around them and two gun type things appeared in front of them." they smiled. "Didn't you build something like this out of some spare parts Lalna had left over?" Xevphera asked the spaceman, who had picked his up and was looking at it from different angles. "Yeah, I had it on my mind. I could only get it to shoot arrows though and occasionally feathers... I think Lalna was messing around with the chickens again, I have the feeling this shoots more than just arrows though, as we saw back on Tektopia." the elf turned to Data and gave him a mean look. "I apologise for that miss, the planet was full of hostile creatures, it was dark and we were looking for the commander." the elf smiled at the man "Oh well." she shrugged before seeing a white object fly behind her, she turned as fast as she could and shot at the light.
The android and spaceman looked taken back. "No-one has ever managed to shoot one like that. The beams disappear after a few seconds and most people while their back is turned don't manage to turn around in time." the elf smiled at the surprised android. "Yeah you know how you said about elf's?" she asked the android nodded slowly, one eyebrow raised. The girl turned and shot at another beam, she turned her head back to Data. "Meet the one and only." the elf stated, Xephos laughed and they both shot at the beams in the dark.
