Ridge had an uneasy feeling in his stomach, but he knew what it was about. He had finally deduced the reason to his insomnia, his race was coming to visit. And not a friendly one at that!
The dinner party had gone well... surprisingly! The groups had discussed their separate business's and towns and were now joking around and eating Jaffa's. Ridge was amused, but knew it would end soon. His race coming would either be really good for him, or really bad for his friends. Good fro him because it could mean that they were coming to test him and finally ascend him to demi-god status, or bad for his friends because they could capture them and experiment on them, or just torture them in the most excruciating ways to see which best worked on humans etc.
They had begun just doing random shit now, Honeydew and Lalna were chucking a ball of matter to each other in a game of bomb, where the ball did actually explode. Xephos and Xevphera were tidying things away and clearing the tables away. Zoeya was showing Martyn and Toby how to ride Teep and Rythian was observing, while chuckling to himself about Lalna and Sjin, Lalna because the matter had exploded and dirt was thrown all over him, and the later because him and most of the other people were doing arm wrestles and he had just lost against Sips.
Ridge watched the gangs as they tried to be friendly and co-operative with one another, even if for just a day. Maybe Xephos's drunken idea of a tea party wasn't such a bad idea! He was actually looking fall wards to their next one! But just as eh was about to join in with Lalna and Honeydew at throwing the dark matter, a black cloud had appeared in the middle of everyone, oh no "Well that's just put a damper on things." Sips joked and got a few laughs in return. "Hey puns are my thing!" Sjin said defensively "Well then you should have said it first!" this caused a few more laughs, but everyone became serious as they walked towards the cloud of black ash. 'This isn't good.' the reaper thought to himself "Don't get to close!" he told the others, who stopped in their tracks and backed away a bit.
The black cloud swirled into like and seemed to be closing together and began to flash in white and black. "It's gonna blow!" Sips shouted and everyone ducked behind something. The cloud exploded in an inferno of white light. No-one was harmed and they all popped out form their hiding places. It was as Ridge had feared, they were here. Two reapers stood in the middle of the group looking quiet out of place. One was a man, he was tall and quiet thin, but muscly. His hair was black and was loosely combed back over his head to reveal grey/green eyes. He wore a long trailing black jacket, it's collar was high around his neck and his jacket was frayed in a stylish was towards the bottom, that swayed out, the peaks curving partially around his ankles. His under top was the same style as Ridges jacket but in black and gold instead of blue and his trousers were black aswell and seemed to be expensive leather of sorts. He wore boots that were plated in some kind of mysterious silver ore the likes of which they'd never seen and they came up to his knee caps. The person stood behind him was a women, she too had black hair, but with streaks of silver. Her hair was swept back over her head and trailed down to the lower part of her back, held back by a little silver hair grip. Her outfit looked like a leather all in one like what bikers wore, except without the advertisements. The collar also came up around her neck and it had fancy patterning on the front, again like Ridge. Her eyes were a light grey that was quiet beautiful. They both carried clipboards.
The group looked at the two, black smoke still swirling around their ankles. No-one moved for what seemed like eternity, but finally the two smirked in the same creepy way Ridge did, but without the jokiness in their eyes. They were up to something, and whatever it was there was mischievousness and trickery involved...
