We do not need to be told what will be good for us and what will be bad for us, what we really need to understand is the word "Falling".
There are plenty of things in life that make you feel good, and free, and like you're falling. We all know what comes at the end of a free fall though, and so it is important to acknowledge that outcome, and what it means to you as an individual.
You cannot be taught Love
You cannot be taught depression
They are things you will have to learn one day threw experience. But you should keep in mind as you go threw life, that it is ok to fall, it is ok to feel good, but you need to have control over how far you can fall.
I am not going to tell you to not do Cocaine, I almost would say that you might want to try it someday. It is a horrible thing, and will probably have a bad effect on your life. It will be a time that you can see if you are capable of controlling your fall or not. This is probably not the best thing to be endorsing, but I have seen and done things in my life for myself, and it has made me the way I am. I don't want you to let people tell you what is good or bad, I don't want you to let people tell you how to live your life. I want you to learn.
I think that one day once you learn that you are you, and you will see things how you want to see them, then on that day you will be a happier person, and will not need to alter the way you think, because the way you think is how you would prefer to think.
Some of you are reading this and believe that you are in this stage, but you are not. I can't tell you how to get there, or when it will happen. I know that it comes from learning, and so all I can say is to go out and experience what you feel you need to.
My friend TK does Cocaine on a regular basis now. I feel sad for him, and this photo is dedicated to TK. He is an awesome guy and I know one day he will look back at this moment, and this picture, and take a lot away from it. Hopefully leading him to a better place. I feel sad when I see him do it. He does also. He said it made his nose run just by looking at it. Tk is learning to fall, and the consequences of going too far.
I hope you don't take it the wrong way or anything.
As they say in New York or somewhere a lot cooler than where I was brought up...Just keeping it Real.

personally, I think I've just been scared out of it cause, everyone that had ever done drugs in my life had ended up out of it, my dad and my auntie, now a bunch of friends at school are doing it.
It's a little scary when in high school more of your friends do drugs then don't, actually i think thats scary in any situation.

Really powerful. I have too many friends like TK. Most of them just get drunk off their asses every night but some are worse. One was drunk, smoked pot, tried salvia, and used shrooms in the same night. He said the only thing he remembers was "batman and being scared as shit." I'm fairly sure he hasn't repeated that...

and i read your comment and completely agree with you,
people should try things for themselves, and learn to fall, and no cocaine is not necessarily bad.
however,
if cocain is a fall from a building, and the size of it depends on you, then other drugs (i.e. hallucinogens) are free falls from airplanes with parachutes to keep you safe.
you learn more about yourself in the fall, your trip is much more intense and possibly much scarier...
but then you're ok physically, and almost certainly mentaly.
i have seen coke ruin many a mans life, and my best friend worked his way to the edge of that fall and came back from it...
and it doesn't even feel that cool. it just feels cool to not want it anymore.

Well man like I said I really don't know. Maybe someday I will when I get there. I have taken part in other things, but not drugs yet.
And sometimes the people who take those free fall parachute drugs, are probably not getting the same experience as people who do coke.
Just speaking hypothetically, one has a fall back plan and one doesn't. Almost like one is real and one is not.

and it turns out you did later,
however the things i refer to are halucinogens, like Salvia Divornum that was mentioned bellow.
if you do all that shit at once (a very stupid idea, don't party with hallucinogens) i can assure you you don't know you'll come out safe.
i.e. a bad trip. ask ANYONE who has had one and they will tell you it is the most horrifying experience you can imagine, you sure as hell don't know you'll leave them ok, but sometimes you have a friend there to assure you you'll be ok (i diddn't)

I have not done coke, I haven't even done a drug, and had not been drunk till I was 22. Not because people told me not to, I just never saw the point.

frankly why anything is because you're alive, and if you diddn't then you never did.
i've tried coke on accident (in my weed) and it wasn't anything special, aware that that isn't a good way to take it all of my friends that have done it express that it isn't really much of a big deal... you just feel kinda good and then you want it again, either because you diddn't get it or you liked it alot. it also makes you confident.
whatever the case i have seen coke do AMAZING amounts of damage to people, ever seen a crack head? ever seen your friend become one? ever seen several become coke fiends? ever had someone scream at you that they don't have a habit for coke when they do it multiple hours every day?
i got drunk before i moved out of the US at age 11, in germany i drank a damn lot, and now i'm a college student in vegas. the point for me was to learn to drink less and enjoy it, being drunk is much the same as any psychotropic thing: to learn something you can't whilst sobre (and yes this is the case) you can also fast to get this.
you can also do this as an escape, but that is dangerous as hell.
there's entheogens (look it up) and those you can only understand if you've been there. but it is safe and worth the "trip,"

but i did take that fall that you talked about, and learned more than you can imagine about myself (if you havn't been there) and that changed my life for the better.

Haha well I'm not trying to get people to do one thing or another. And I'm not sure Coke even has anything to do with it for the most part. It just happens to be the subject matter when I got on the ramble about life.
I really don't know if you frequent my page or read my journals. But my life has changed dramatically this year. and I have done things that a lot of people did not understand, but it is coming together and I am heading towards a wonderful life for myself I believe.
But anyways, I'm glad you like the picture, I'm glad I caught the moment well, and I'm glad you feel strongly about the subject. Makes me feel good as a photographer.
