I was invited in a local Cinema 2 weeks ago to come and see Episode 2 and yeah it roxx.sum time ago i got this droid model of a friend and i think now its time to show my render to the world

MAke a ground plane, maybe something from a Naboo palace or something, something that shows shadow. MAke a hemispherical light array with lights at 3% (0.03 for the 3ds Max abusers), spaced about 15% apart, shadowmapping 512. (or find a fake_radiosity scene somwhere on the net... if you use Lightwave, look on [link] ) Then add a main spotlight at about 90% (0.9). Gives you realistic lighting. That will do more to your robot than texturing will.
