My custom design of the MA7 series Assault Rifle, heavily based off Halo: Reach's skeletal MA37 design which I favour over the bulkier MA5. This picture is used for my Halo Fanon expanded universe project, Against All Odds. I made this picture for someone else, since I don't like writing articles about weapons. But it was still fun to draw.

As you can see, the standard design has no screen for its ammunition indicator or compass. I've noticed how the MA37's screen in Halo: Reach seems to be an attachment rather than part of the rifle, so I decided to draw an attachment riser instead. I think it would be more useful to mount something like an iron sight or a scope anyway.
