I was chosen for this mission because killing is an art and I am a master.~Thane Krios
Update July 8 2015:
I reworked this outfit for thane with higher resolution textures and and more advanced technique for applying textures. That allowed me to enhance the whole outfit and adding many small details besides fixing some uglies of the first release. Combining Mass Effect with Assassin's Creed some more. I added a hidden holographic blade to Thane's overhauled left bracer. The hidden blade bracer has fine details all over for depicting how special they are and that they are not distributed to anyone.
The overhaul took 2 weeks.
It took 1.5 months of work to get this project done. An alternate outfit for Thane based on Altair's robes of Assassin's Creed. The texturing of the new robes a based on Thanes original outfit with some profound alterations.

Back then I wasn't very experienced with those things and took a while to properly reshape Thanes existing outfit and patterns. I'm happy about the way it turned out.

That's the right way to do it. Don't just settle with a project of yours until you are really happy with it. If you keep challenging yourself you'll keep improving yourself.

It would be awesome. Did you hear of the tool ME3explorer? With some more development it could be able to replace meshes and textures in ME2 so this outfit could become available.
