I am very definitely going to think twice before messing with this Spider-Man after seeing him in a dark alley. The white and gray and black actually work quite wellΒ for urban camouflage.

Richard O'Reilly lives in the rather quaint City Center district of New York City with his Mother and Father. Or at least... he used to. His mother was recently murdered in a drive-by shooting, a pointless and random affair. Richie and his Father took this badly. Both becoming estranged from eachother, hardly speaking a word. Richie threw himself into his studies, aiming and eventually succeeding at getting his coveted internship at Dynamic Technologies, near where he lived. Here he was around some of the greatest minds in the world leaving him awed and grateful to be working there. One day, after a nasty argument with his Father, Richard went to work at DT in the experimental medication area, where the scientists were working on a new super-enhancement drug for the organization known as HYDRA. Richard, being depressed, went for what he assumed was an anti-depressive, swallowing a mysterious pill. Of course, this pill turned out to be the super-drug, derived from various species of arachnids, bestowing upon him their various abilities. After much deliberation, he decided to use these to become the next... SPIDER-MAN!

I love the symmetry, and the way his pose just screams 'What are you looking at, bub?' (Yes, Wolverine's 'bub', as in, look away or get punched). Looks a lot better than that weird 'Noir' Spiderman. The contrast is great too, as well as 'extra eyes' (even if you're missing two for a spider's eight).

I like the contrast of light and dark here. Plus, I really dig what you did with the eyes. I tried to include some of those in my designs, but couldn't get it to work. Yours works very well in a kind of Metal Gear way.

I love how the chest emblem looks like a spider or a man. This happened in mine too, but by accident.
All your designs are fun, and I bet one of them will reach at least the top ten.

I love this design. The chest emblem, The gloves and padding are all great. However that mask is something really special. Glad to see one that looks like a spider here. Great color choices too.
