C. S. Lewis (The author of The Chronicles of Narnia) has written other books that have been very influential and one of his interesting and possibly darkest fictional stories he's ever done is The Screwtape Letters. It's about a demon name Screwtape who sends letters to his nephew, Wormwood, about how to best tempt and manipulate a mortal into turning away from God and to live by-carelessly in hopes of being him closer to Hell. This book holds no punches as it really delves into the twisted, malevolent, and devious teachings of the main character.

(While none of the demons have been given a physical description in the book and rightfully so, I was inspired to do a version of a demon that (Do to the creative help of the artist) would be familiar enough to be recognized as a demon but different enough to stand out. The items that you see are references to satanic, biblical, and historical references that I thought was fitting for him)
