Highly unoriginal naming aside, it was still in the works after all... These lands were the first my players laid eyes upon, landing in the Venice-inspired city of canals of Via Caravelli. Had to mask the empty areas with some quick clouds for that neat terra incognita effect. Initally for a D&D game, I've been thinking of repurposing these areas for a more Monster Hunter themed kind of worldbuilding. Makes it fun to write stories about with my bestie -`♡´-

Via Caravelli holds a special place in my heart as it came from a fascination of the Venetian lagoon cities thanks to growing up with Tomb Raider II. It is, a merchant city naturally, the last remnant of what the old, now fallen empire used to be like at its peak. A small glimpse of their capital city in a way, which was never rendered into the map for lore reasons. The rest of the cities and details are mostly part of smaller substories, but they helped in filling up those spaces.
