Oh no! Link is confused
He has no idea where he is! (sorry, he tends to wake up to his advetures... well, to some of them ^_^)I didn't know what scene to put Link in (there are too many good ones)... so I just jumbled up elements for the various Legend of Zelda games (note: some not all)
. Any LoZ fan should be able to pick them out ^_^ (I'll list them at the bottom - so don't look if you want to guess)I know it sounds like a good idea to put that scary moon from Majora's Mask up (Dark World also had one), but I decided against it... didn't fit the mood. So forgive me on that ^_^

I based them on the pixel versions of the cuccos ^_^' (from Link to the Past, the GB/GBA games, etc). lol, they're fun that way (and easier to kick too

I love the guy balancing on top of the pointed tower! And I do like the entire whimsical feel to this piece. I like the background the best though. That balancing guy seems to get my attention, rather than Link. ( Maybe it has to do with the moon behind him )

Me thinks you should make a short flash animation of Link waking up in the middle of the night and realizing that he's not where he fell asleep. Then wandering through many maps through day and night..
This is so cute! I really like the painted feel to this (Yay for Painter 6!!), yet the drawing style is "cartoony", so they blend well together. You know I love your sketchy paint borders. ^_^. Like Tony the Tiger says, "Greaaaaaaaaaaat!" ^_^

What tool did you use in Painter? It looks watercolor-ish, but I can't be sure since the image was shrunken a bit. I think I might start using the 'Grain' option in the watercolors tool to see how that would turn out.

I don't blame him for being confused.. it's like remembering everything you did bought/did on every trip to the grocery store dating back to the late 80s. (well, it SEEMS liek there were that many games... haha) Can you remember what you bought at the little corner store in the winter of 94'?

The chickens! You added the chickens! Love them. Actually, that reminds me of A Link to the Past, too (not just OoT) simply because my sister and I used to play in one of the town for hours catching those chickens. ...Yeah. We were young. ^.^;;;
Love this picture, I can't believe how quickly you finished this! Although I adore Link (his expression is perfect confuzzelment... if that were a word, that is, lol) but my favorite part of this is the clock tower in front of the moon and the skull kid on top of it. Just brilliant (despite the fact that Majora's Mask sits collecting dust in the corner of my room...)

Yeah, yeah... My first experience with the Cuckoos wa in A Link to the Past ^_^ I loved that game (probably my favorite among the LoZ games). I kept slashing at the chickens though O.o

Oh, I totally forgot to mention something. I just noticed that his pinky and ring finger look kinda joined, and a little subtle shadow would probably fix that. Other than that, I don't see anything wrong with this. Nicely done, again! I still need to buckle down and learn Painter yet!
