Oliver is the son of a male inkling and a female octoling
He was born with a terrible eye problem which would have made him half blind or worst, but thanks to the progress of medicine, he managed to get a new eye with the problem that its donor was a sea snake
He was born in the Splatlands, then moved to Inkopolis where he will experience an accident that will make him lose some f his memories
He will then leaves the city to reach a small far away port, there he will meet the palico Miaowizzer and start working on his boat
After some time and with various pokémons joining the crew, Oliver will then become the captain for the new ship, named Marine Claire, specialized in transport of anything and with the only crew crazy enough to venture to Monster Island
Oliver has a talent in creating futuristic gadgets to aid him in combat, one of these is a pair of bracelets that make him summon any weapon from his armory (which is big)
His main ink weapon is the Splatana Wiper
