Description
There has always been some kind of rivalry between Gordon and Hurricane. Both are express engines, but have different views.Gordon has always been jelous of Hurricane. His class, the LLEL Falcons, were faster and stronger than the LNER A1/A3's and the A4s. Gordon took it really hard and would always try and beat Hurricane in every way.
Hurricane could never understand Gordon. Hurricane sees no issue with express engines shunting or fetching their own trains. He also never understood why Gordon says shunting is for "silly little tank engines". Though he doesn't compete against Gordon, he does get annoyed when Gordon challenges him to a race, since he knows he could easily beat Gordon.

Gordon is being petty, and I think he knows that, deep in his boiler, this petty rivalry is even more pathetic than his “no-shunting” policy.
