Details:
Was asked to illustrate a Battle Geisha. Was told to keep it very flowy so I changed up the style a little bit. The movement through the body was supposed to be symbolic of a reed being blown by the wind, bending. I also felt that I wanted the background to be an epic explosion of colour and flowers and blood drops to help give this soft geisha's world mixed with battle.

That's really cool - I like your art style! Do you do these as pen work in PS (as they look vector) and if so, why choose PS over Illustrator? Is it just personal preference?

Personally I prefer illustrator over photoshop, mostly due to the fact that I can execute a much cleaner line-less piece. Although as of late I have been working in photoshop more. Been trying to get better with photoshop
