Details:
Was asked to illustrate a Battle Geisha. Was told to keep it very flowy so I changed up the style a little bit. The movement through the body was supposed to be symbolic of a reed being blown by the wind, bending. I also felt that I wanted the background to be an epic explosion of colour and flowers and blood drops to help give this soft geisha's world mixed with battle.

Yeah I did try to add more layers to this one (although probably still not enough, haha) and it didn't work out so well, but perhaps I will try again on another geisha someday? Thank you co much for the comment and the advice
