this was another attempt using corel painter. the picture itself isn't that good, but i like some things about it. the guy's expression turned out okay. the grass looked good, and kind of blurry, as if to indicate speed. i also liked the cloud - it was pleasantly puffy. i have about six versions of this picture - this is not the original. i used different effects on the canvas and one of them yielded the strange reddy tinge with the beam down the middle. i thought it looked pretty cool, like he was about to be abducted or something (adding to the theme of why he was running). so, yes, woo hoo and such...
