Hel is a prominent figure in Norse mythology and is associated with the realm of the dead in Norse cosmology. She is often depicted as the daughter of the trickster god Loki and the giantess AngrboΓ°a. Hel is said to rule over the realm also called Hel, where the souls of the deceased who did not die in battle or were not chosen by other deities reside.
Considering she is the daughter of a giantess and ruler of a realm, I opted to portray her with bulkier proportions.
