Description This concept art of a rose window is a part of my personal project about an abandoned gothic cathedral ([link] ).

The piece was entirely painted in Photoshop CS2, using the "transform again" function to have circular repetitions, which came in handy for the rose window ...

Hmh, i've never heard of that function before. Where is that tool located in Photoshop? That could have helped me out countless times had I known about it. haha

ctrl + alt + shift + t = fun! .. it will duplicate your layer and apply the last transformation (ctrl + alt + t).
Generally in Photoshop "alt" recalls the last settings, ctrl + alt + m ... last used curve, etc.

Hope that helps

Sad to see the broken window...(I use to do leaded glass and have constructed rose windows before. ) But, I love the way you handled this. It looks so real and gives the feeling of abandonment.

Fantastic job!

I'm glad it's connect to emotions, the scene should feel kind of depressive and abandoned. only ravens find there home in there ...
