open spaces leftand I don't know what to do
I've only got nine pages
and still I don't have you
you left me all too sudden
you took away my muse
and now I have nine pages
but I'm back inside this ruse
I'm hiding here inside this lie
while nine pages blankly scream
I wish you hadn't left me
I wish this was a dream
nine pages sit in front of me
and await my slumbrous pen
but while I am without you,
I can't start up again
my thoughts have strayed away
from the place they were before
and while i have nine pages,
it seems like thousands more
so won't you please come back to me
for just a day or two
so I can fill nine pages
and rest in peace with you
