I don't know if Germans did Halloween in the 60s/70s. Shoot, I don't know if Germans do Halloween now. Maybe he "loves" it out of it being the "first time" kinda thing. Who knows. Whether or not he builds a candy machine is another thing entirely.

I was referring to his Halloween lines about loving it, that would make a lotta sense if he didn't know what Halloween was at first which prompted him to say the lines "Oh. Magic. Ghosts! Oho Zhis is so much fun!" and "Oh hohoho I love Halloveen!". Thinking about that its rather adorable, like a kid in a kritz candy store or like a first Christmas thing.
Also I'm imagining the machine scenario being like: "MUAHAHA THROW ZE SVITCH PYRO!!"
