a friend of mine wanted me to draw her a banner based on both her character and her favorite outfit. needless to say she was INCREDIBLY picky about the smallest details (such as that hair again) I finally got something she liked which involved a lot of red. the background started as a simple red and white stripe before it evolved into what it is there, and the borders turned out better than she expected. still not sure if I should be insulted by that last part.
