Outside of the car appeared to be peaceful, being mostly comprised of rolling fields and forests, but inside Jordan made sure it was far from that. She tapped her fingers against the steering wheel to the sound of the blaring, aggressive music coming from the radio. Jordan was excited to get to their destination. They were, after all, tasked with picking up the first two wiltshire puppies that were to be at Muddy River Stud. Despite being one of the younger and more new people to be apart of it, luck just so happened that they were the only one convenient when the time came to acquire them. The Stud’s owner of course had arranged for the purchase and approved of them, but Jordan still got the honour of bringing them back.

Once arrived at the destination, Jordan turned off the radio and carried out the exchange. She had purchased her own dog before, so she was familiar enough with the process. She introduced herself to each puppy before settling them into a cage in the trunk. Jordan had to refrain from playing with them for too long as they had a long ride ahead of them. Before closing the trunk she watched them, seeing some personality show through already. The black and tan puppy was excited and trying to play with the end of a leash that had fallen off of his cage and in front of the gate, while the orange puppy barked along in a more relaxed position. Jordan positioned the leash back where it had fallen from and closed the trunk door.

”Hey, yeah, I just got them in the car and I’m headed back now,” Jordan spoke into their phone as they buckled up their seat belt. They talked back and forth to Muddy River Stud’s owner for a short while about the puppies. The two dogs barked in the background, but quieted down after some time. Hanging up the phone, Jordan instinctually reached for the radio button, but stopped themselves just short. Although the drive would feel incredibly odd in the quiet, they didn’t want to stress the puppies out with their choice is tunes.

Soon enough, Jordan and the puppies arrived at the puppies’ new home. They were given some time outside incase they needed a potty break after the long ride, but it wasn’t long until they were brought inside and set up in their new environment.
