Undertow and Sennet were best friends, and both enrolled in the Royal Guard training program at the same time. It was mostly Undertows dream, to serve the queen or king and protect them from harm. And Sennet... well Sennet went wherever Undertow went. Sennet was more the crafty and cunning type, she wanted to become of the Royal Families advisors. Sadly the path she chose to follow with Undertow wouldnt allow that unless she surpassed all others in ranks.
After the training program was up, Undertow prooved herself to be one of the best guards seen within the past four decades. She was immediatley assigned to watch over Prince Rivulet, the heir to the Seawing throne. Rivulet and Undertow grew close while she was on duty, and soon after they started meeting up to go watch the stars, or go to the finest resutraunts the palace had to offer. A few days before corination, Undertow confessed her love to Rivulet. Luckily for her, Rivulet felt the same and they planned to get married after his corination.
Sennet, however, over heard the entire conversation. Sennet hadnt done so well in the training program and upon graduation, was sent to work in storage down by the scribes office below the palace. It wasnt a glamorous job and often she just laid around not doing anything. She and Undertow continued to meet up as often as they could,,, until Undertow started meeting up with Rivulet instead.
Sennet had always loved Undertow, and because of how Undertow acted she assumed the other Seawing had felt the same. No. Undertow thought of Sennet as a sister to her, a role that she herself never had.
