Description
When I was in 6th grade, I was drawing a bunch “if they were older” PPG designs (as well as all those fan-made Puffs we all had thousands of).
I recently was throwing out/recycling a bunch of old papers, and I found some scribbles that weren’t too bad…
OK, they were bad, but had potential. So I said what they heck, and re-drew it to be slightly better… OK, it might still be bad, but OH WELL.
I’ve dabbled with the idea of drawing them slightly more “humanized”, but this time I wanted to really keep them within the original designs. The longer they get, the more terrifying those nub-arms become, but I feel that is as it should be;
they have no visible ears/noses, HUGE heads and eyes, and hands without fingers.
Truly adorable monsters (isn't that why we love them, though).
They are somewhere around 13/14/15 (I didn’t want them to be too old, but old enough they would look different from their kindergarten versions). Obviously, they aren’t the same as the original teenage PPG (that was like a fever dream, and it was amazing),
but there is a little bit of those designs mixed in. I changed Blossom's hair a lot, pulling part of her bangs back.
I changed all their hair styles slightly, but I still wanted it to look like them (hopefully I didn’t mess them up too badly)
Their outfits are also similar to classic PPG, with a few touches added.
PPG belongs to Cartoon Network and Craig McCracken
