What better way to celebrate your last night of social freedom than with a high stakes naked race? Elizabeth Worth knew a good time when she saw it and couldn't pass up the chance to feel the cool night air on her skin before she had to actually make a point to keep her reputation squeaky clean. WSE didn't care what their working students got into before they started their programs, just what they did during.
Dolly maybe wasn't the best choice for a tackless race through Biscotti Stables' dark grounds but she was all Elizabeth had. Quietly walking Dolly to the starting line, buck naked, felt a lot like meeting a Tinder hook up in an empty parking lot for a dashboard confessional, with the similar risk of getting caught. Absolutely invigorating. And the mood only got better after the start of the race. Of course Dolly almost jumped out of her own skin as the other horses lurched forward, breaking the night's silence with their thundering hoof beats. Elizabeth grabbed mane like her life depended on it (it did) and righted the mare quickly, before squeezing her legs and urging Dolly forward. It wasn't until they'd rounded a handful of pastures that Dolly finally got into her rhythm and Elizabeth was hit with another burst of adrenaline.
