all the drinks contained alcohol, and the demons were heavily aggressive, so Jack ordered the only drink that didn't contain Alcohol
only to keep his promises not to consume any drug or fire a gun ever again, even while in hell

The Blodtorst, named after the race of demons that went extinct when Jack's father died to the hands of Ragnar
Jack as a still half Blodtorst, decided he would take it, egged on by the demons on the bar, who regularly tempted people
to try the drink and watch them agonize for weeks, since only the Blodtorst can handle it's intensity, given that it's made from the blood of an incredibly toxic
demon

Jack would get a boost from the drink, and this would break into a fight at the bar, that Jack would easily carry on from
