Overall a simple piece, but enough detail in the character to keep it interesting.
Perhaps I'm reading a bit too much into this, but leaving the rest of the canvas blank really helps emphasize the mood. One of those days when you're so wrapped up in your music/your thoughts that nothing else exists.
Although the black on the right side is distracting. Was that part of the texture?
