One Friday afternoon, Ezekiel decided to go out for a walk since its break time at his bookstore. He doesn't feel sleepy that's why he opted to stroll around instead of taking a nap. After how many minutes of walking, he finally reached the Fairheaven Grotto. It is the warmest area in Lumeria, however the young pegasus felt the same breeze in Sapphire City. He looked around the area and noticed that there were no people around.

"That's strange. People must be taking their nap, but with this bitter cold breeze? I think they must be doing something else."

Ezekiel continued to walk around the area. He observed that every object around him had no shadows. He then stared at the ground to search for his own, however he can't find it. He realized that maybe people panicked when they saw that their shadows are not with them.

"I just remembered that the surrounding is quite gloomy today. There's no light…"

Then suddenly, he looked up in the sky. The black sun on the Lumerian sky surprised him, but at the same time made his curiosity activate.

"Since the flares of the real sun are temporarily absent, I wonder what will happen if I touch this black sun?"

For the sake of the question hanged on his mind, Ezekiel prepared to take off the ground and soon after he took off, he felt that it was too cold for him as if the breeze penetrated through his bones. He went down to the ground again.

"I guess it's not good to fly around today. I'll just go back home." He happily thought.

A few minutes later, he changed his mind. Instead of going home, he decided to stay for a bit longer. So he moved to a warmer area, put his basket on the ground and searched for his pipe inside his basket. The moment he found his pipe, he started smoking and looked up again in the sky.

"Perhaps, I'll just stay here a bit longer. Sorry to the residents here, but it's stressful to remove smoke in my place from time to time. It's rare for me to smoke in an open area too." He concluded and giggled at the thought and proceeded on smoking while looking at the unique celestial body. "I also bet that Madam Nova finds it obvious already .Oh well~"

The black sun was about to set and that signalled the young Pegasus to return to his place. He fixed everything around him and started walking back home. After he reached his place in Sapphire City, he quickly placed his basket onto the counter and went straight to the scholar's selection. He scanned all the books that are related to astronomy, but after several minutes of searching none of them contained information about the black sun.

"None of the gods created that black sun, yes? I must make further observations regarding this weird celestial body." He seriously thought.

He then looked at the cluttered books and started returning them to their proper places.
