I am brokenstaring on the edge of eyes
I can not see.
She comes around
and hands meet
not for exactly the first time.
"Please lift me away from this"
Pleaded, witenessed and carried out.
with vindication.
She would have liked to cry
but thumbs wiped the tears and
made her fears drift away.
She stares back into eyes
She plunges off the edge and takes him for all he is worth.
He comes around
