Description
After their little nap Paul and Streuner awoke, well, to a forest just the way it had looked, when they had gotten to sleep.
The only thing that had changed, was their little fire having burned down, otherwise there was no sign of the time having passed by, at all.
Sighing to himself, Paul decided it was useless to stay here any longer, he still wanted to find Evelyn and Nora, as well as he wanted to find a way out of this forest. He definitely was not going to die in some stupid, creepy forest, that he was firm about!
Getting the fire out and buried, because the last they needed was a burning, stupid creepy forest, Paul so saddled Streuner, mounted his stallion and they rode on. Soon however, Paul again developed the feeling they were going in circles. He would've bet, they had entered the forest somewhere here. He usually had quite a good sense of orientation and he would've bet, they had entered from where they were now, yet all they saw was more forest around them, not even a hint of a clearing peeking through the branches or anything. It was as if the forest was endlessly wrapping itself around them, following them wherever they went!

A little snort of Streuners then caught Paul's attention.
"What is it?", he asked the stallion, who briefly bobbed his head up. Following Streuners gaze up a tree, Paul then also found, what the foxer had seen. A sack. High up in a tree.
"What sorta shit is that?", Paul mumbled, his brows furrowing. On the one hand he found it stupid to try getting some random sack out of a tree, on the other hand however, he was also curious to find out, what it might be about. Afterall this event already had turned out way different, than what Paul had originally come here for, who know, maybe there was something to help them in this sack.
Riding over to the tree, Paul however realized, that the sack was really high up.
"Okay, I'mma stand up and try grab it.", he told Streuner, climbing to stand up on the saddle and trying to reach up, but even though Streuner was a really tall animal and also Paul wasn't short, the sack was still to high. Sitting back into the saddle, Paul gave an angered huff, pouting for a moment, when suddenly an idea hit him.
"Streunermann, what about you rear up and lean against the tree and then I climb your shoulders? Should be high enough, then!", he suggested.

Streuner looked back skeptically, but then gave a little snort of agreement.
Rearing up, while Paul leaned forward, he waited for the stallion to support his weight against the tree, before pushing himself up and climbing the stallion's shoulders. Leaning against the tree, Paul streched up, he would've sworn he would've been able to reach the sach by now, but it almost was, like it creeped higher and higher. But he definitely wouldn't give in to some stupid sack!
"Juuuust a liiittle . . .", Paul mumbled, streching a bit more and finally grabbing the bottom of the sack, "HA!", he called, when suddenly his foot slipped, Paul not able to grab hold of the tree or Streuner, but utterly losing his balance, falling down backwards, the sack in his wake!
