Hurray!! This is one of those pictures that I started messing around with to be something quick and chill...25+ hours later and I'm finally done working on it, but I love it, so I won't complain too muchI still don't like the background completely, so any suggestions on how to make it better are definitely appreciated

why not have flames coming from somewhere on the ship in the background and water splashing up on the side of the ship behind katara and steam rising from somewhere like inbetween their kiss?

It looks strangely good. Vector drawing always seems to have a strange aspect to me, like it's too smooth.
I like the background, and I like their faces.

Some people definitely make their vectors super smooth. I don't know whether or not it's because they do a lot of gradient mesh work, or if they just have a million more layers in theirs than mine. I don't think I'd have the patience to do that.
