I'm serious! It seems insane but I did get hit in the head with a chunk of blessed pie. I traveled across, like, half the UK to go to this insane event called the Hallaton Bottle-Kicking. Basically, what happens is that there's a parade to the local church, then a "hare" pie is blessed. And then a bunch of people throw it at the crowd. Then there's a parade to the top of the hill with the "kegs" and then the event commences. Literally the only rules are: No eye-gouging, no strangling, and no use of weapons. That's it.

That was the second time I'd ever been to the bottle-kicking. It's in Leicestershire I think. Idk tho.
