As Ruby stood still, her hands shaking, the piece of scrap metal dripping fresh blood from the jagged ends. Her eyes studied the hall, watching for any movement that may come near the end. The lights flickered above them, an obnoxious clicking as it continued. Her breathing was quiet but panicked, unlike the figure beside her. That was when they heard it, the disgusting sound of gnashing teeth against bone, the gurgling hiss, the uneven footsteps. Ruby looked towards Michael, who was frozen in fear. She knew the thing wasn't weak, they knew that killing that thing was beyond difficult, but they knew that they have to escape, before they too, are left to rot.

Finally, after many setbacks, It's finally finished.
